The basic skills of resuscitation are learned in the course. In addition, we get to know the use of a defibrillator in resuscitation. The following skills are practiced in the course:

• Scene assessment
• Use of protective equipment
• Primary assessment
• CPR
• Use of a defibrillator
• CPR of a child and an infant
• Helping an adult or child who is choking 
• Helping an infant who is choking
